Polyethersulfone (PES) Membrane
Cobetter Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane adopts a unique patented asymmetric structure with uniform pore sizes and high porosity. The sulfonation treatment ensures high hydrophilic of the membrane, while maintaining filtration efficiency, high flow rate, strong dirt-holding capacity, and ensures low protein adsorption and low extracables. Cobetter PES membrane has good chemical compatibility with pH 3-14. It can be sterilized by ETO/gamma irradiation/e- beam, and can be autoclaved at 121 °C and 134 °C, making it the preferred choice for many medical device designs.

Description
PES membrane
Cobetter polyethersulfone (PES) membrane has a funnel-shaped pore structure with a large inlet surface and a small outlet surface, which is an asymmetric structure. In addition to typical aqueous filtration applications, the upstream large pore sizes can accommodate large particles such as blood cells and provide reaction sites for processing reagents such as cell lysate. The down stream small pore sizes gives the membrane surface a delicate texture, which is good for optical observation. This enables the PES membrane to have a certain ability to process blood samples, which can be used as a functional carrier in diagnostics for in vitro POCT test strips.
